Spaces provides a rich and clean UI to allow you to concentrate on your designs. Spaces contains a number of Key UI Views and Interface Controls as outlined below.
This is the main view where you sketch and develop your design.
The key UI components are:
Main Toolbar (for right handed users this appears on the left) provides access to other Key Views, along with access to the main Tools and Settings.
Top Toolbar provides access on the left to the Projects View, while on the right key information is displayed including the total Area of the Project and the current Working Level. These buttons also serve to show/hide the respective palettes.
By default the Main Views (3d and 2d) are both shown, buttons in the Main Toolbar allow you to show/hide these views where you want to maximise the size of a single view. You can also adjust the size of the Main Views by dragging the splitter between the views.
The 2d Sketch View, also contains a small set of Editing Tools. Different Tools are shown/hidden depending on the current context and/or selection.
Clicking the < Button in the Top Toolbar opens the Projects View where you can manage your Projects.
The top button on the Main Toolbar provides access to the Brief Page. Currently this view provides access to managing the different Usage Types in the Project.
Keep an eye out for future versions as this view develops into a comprehensive project briefing tool.
The second button on the Main Toolbar provides access to the Report Page where you can see a complete overview of the project areas and usage.
You can group the report by Building or by Usage by clicking the buttons in the Top Toolbar.
