Datums form a core part of Spaces and allow you complete and quick control over their management. Datums can be used to increase and decrease the height of your buildings and also to adjust their base elevation. Individual datums can be dragged to quickly alter individual storey heights with the rest of the datums updating in sync.
Datums can be very restrictive in existing BIM systems reducing the flexibility you require during the conceptual design stage.
Keep an eye out for future videos where we will show how you can leverage the power of datums across your entire project enabling fast, fluid and flexible concept design.
Note: These videos are produced using development versions of Spaces. In some instances there will minor differences between the User Interface in the video and the actual released app.
