You can add context to your models with Surrounding Buildings. These items work the same as Buildings, however, they are not divided into levels and their areas are not quantified in the Reports.
Surrounding buildings can be created using strokes (as outlined below) or you can Import surroundings to bring these in for your location.
To create Surrounding Buildings simply select the Surroundings Tool in the Main Toolbar
When drawing Surrounding buildings, it will quite often be quicker to disable Automatic item creation in the Drawing settings, this will allow you to draw longer strokes that are all in line and then clean them up and tap to create the buildings.
You can edit Surrounding Buildings in all the same ways as can edit Buildings:
Surrounding Buildings can be hidden using the Display Options.
You can also set them to display as transparent or outlines. Or, simply hide when they are in the foreground.
