The Site boundary tool is part of our Professional subscription plan.
To ensure the accuracy of your site-related calculations, you may want to enter your site information precisely rather than creating a simple sketch-based site.
If you have the boundary information - for example, bearings and lengths - you can use the Boundary editor to enter and create your site.
To get started, double-tap the Site tool in the Main toolbar.
This will open the Boundary editor
Enter the details for the first site boundary and tap the Create button; the boundary will appear in the 2d view
Note: you can set your preferred unit for bearings in the Project or App Settings.
Continue adding the boundaries around the site, and these will attach to the previous boundary.
Once your site closes (or is close to closing), a Site will be created
Editing boundaries
You can edit a boundary by selecting it from the list, updating the required value(s) and tapping Modify.
Insert boundary
If required, you can insert a boundary between two existing boundaries
Select the boundary in the list that precedes the boundary you need to add
Update the required value(s), and instead of tapping Modify, tap Insert
The new boundary is inserted after the selected boundary and all boundaries are updated
Flip boundary
Depending on your site plan, you might sometimes end up with a bearing that is 180 degrees out based on which boundary you began with
In this instance, simply select the boundary can click the Arrow button to flip the bearing 180 degrees.
Delete boundary
To delete a boundary, select it from the list and click the X button.
Additional sites
If you want to enter more than one site, select the boundary which is common to both sites and click the Site button
This will create a new site in the list
Creating new boundaries will now append these to this newly created site
You can switch which site you are editing by tapping on the relevant Site in the list.
